LAS VEGAS PHILHARMONIC. . .
The
Musicians Union of Las Vegas is pleased to bring to your attention that
the musicians of the Las Vegas Philharmonic under the direction of Harold
Weller are represented by Local 369, and work under the terms of a Collective
Bargaining Agreement negotiated by the Union on their behalf. In addition
to increased wages and benefits, the most recent negotiations also expanded
the established tenure conditions; thereby strengthening a most important
element, job security. The successor agreement (2005-2007) among other items,
features the creation of additional titled positions at premium pay.
The Union and the Las Vegas
Philharmonic enjoy a cordial relationship which has resulted in
the artistic growth of the orchestra, thus proving when union and management
